Service Description
We offer a comprehensive string programme starting from Year 4. Students learn violin, viola, cello, or double bass in small group lessons taught by experienced professionals. We foster a love of music while developing technical skills and ensemble playing.
Our string programme is offered at Papatoetoe East and Central Schools in Papatoetoe, and at Bailey Road and Stanhope Road Schools in Mt Wellington. Students progress to Papatoetoe Intermediate for continued education, and we have developed a partnership to support students at Papatoetoe High School. Talented students have the opportunity to earn scholarships covering the cost of individual lessons throughout primary, intermediate and high school.
