Richar is a passionate saxophone and clarinet teacher, performer, and conductor with over 20 years of international experience across New Zealand, Europe and Latin America.
Having worked with professional orchestras and ensembles, he brings energy, creativity, and high-quality musicianship into every lesson. Richar creates fun, motivating, and well-structured learning experiences that help children build confidence, strong musical foundations, and steady progress, including preparation for exams and performance opportunities. He is also the Music Director of the Manukau Concert Band, and leads the Tironui Concert Band and band pathways within the trust.
